Cal Crutchlow, nickname: The Dog Favorite (born 29 October 1985 in Coventry) is a British motorcycle racer. He won the 2006 British Supersport Championship for the Northpoint Ekerold Honda team and the 2009 World Supersport Championship for the Yamaha World Supersport team.
Although Chrutchlow's father was also a racing driver, Chrutchlow did not become interested in motorsport until the age of eleven. Chutchlow's first race was at Darley Moore in the UK Junior Challenge in 1999 on an Aprilia RS125. He won this race and became champion in this class the same year, after which he continued in the Aprilia RS125 Challenge in 2000, where he finished 5th that year and became champion in this class in 2001. In 2002 Crutchlow raced with the Tech2 Suzuki Team in the Junior Superstock Championship on a Suzuki GSX-R600 where he finished 4th and in 2003 Crutchlow came 2nd in the Virgin Mobile Yamaha R6 Cup.
