The France rugby team is a team of rugby players that represents France in international competitions.
Rugby is a popular sport in France, especially in the south of the country. France is one of the best rugby countries in the world and has played in the five-nation tournament annually since 1910 (the six-nation tournament since 2000). Because professional rugby was played in France, France was excluded from participating in this tournament between 1932-1939. They have participated every year since the Second World War and have won the tournament 26 times (including the eight shared places). The France rugby team has also played in every Rugby World Cup and is a three-time vice-world champion.
